I'm a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying Political Science and Creative Writing.
I'm a writer and a dreamer. An outgoing introvert. An avid mom blog reader. I'm a healthy eater, a horseback rider (hence the name of the site), a swimmer, and a health coach because I believe in living the best life possible and feeling healthy, happy, and strong inside and out!

A year ago, I started working as a Beachbody coach because I experienced an incredible internal transformation while doing the 21 Day Fix (read about it here, here, and here). A huge part of that was due to the amazing community I found with Team Inspire Joy and I knew that I had to be a part of it.
A year ago, I was paralyzed by my own self doubt, questioning my self worth, mentally chastising myself daily because I thought I wasn't enough--and at the same time because I thought I was too much.
Now, a year after completing the 21 Day Fix for the first time and beginning my coaching business, I have the courage to chase after my dreams, the confidence to look myself in the mirror and believe it when I tell myself I'm beautiful (#selfluv), and the strength to know when I need to take a step back.
I like kale (a LOT), chocolate, English Breakfast tea, and carbs in pretty much any form. I almost never walk out of a grocery store without some kind of squash in my cart (butternut, spaghetti, acorn...it's a real problem).
I make to-do lists like it's my job and firmly believe that gold polka dots make anything and everything better.
