Hey, hi, hello!
I've been looking for a way to break my accidental blog hiatus and this amazing recipe seems like a good way to do it. I found this recipe on the Beachbody blog and thought it sounded yummy, but given my um, love-hate relationship with vanilla Shakeo--like, can't even really stand the smell--I really wasn't sure how it'd turn out.
Spoiler alert: I love them.
I adapted it a little--mostly so I could add in some cranberries because they're my fave, but here's how it ended up:
- 1 1/2 scoops Vanilla Shakeology
- 1/2 c almond flour
- 1/2 c oats
- 1/4 c peanut butter
- 1/3 c almond milk
- 1/4 c dried cranberries
Combine your dried ingredients, add the milk and nut butter of your choice, and roll into individual balls. Keep in the refrigerator.
These are my favorite snacks lately--if you're a student reading this, these would make AMAZING snacks between classes to keep your energy level up and add a little protein! I love that you don't have to bake them at all, which preserves all the extra nutrients, superfoods, and pre- and pro-biotics Shakeology has in it!
If you look closely, you can tell I was snacking while photographing. That last picture is actually of half of one. SO. GOOD. #noshameinmygame
