The Platinum Edge

I'm calling it now--TPE will be the best investment I've made in my business!

I spent last weekend in Dallas with Anna, my coach, and Katie, one of my other Inspire Joy teammates for a business conference called The Platinum Edge. TPE is put on annually by our sponsoring upline--one of the head coaches of Beachbody--for our team. There are over 200,000 coaches under our sponsoring coach (the amazing Christine Dwyer) but there were only about 850 coaches at the conference, so it was a great chance to get to meet some of the other coaches on our team and mastermind together!

Anna and I landed early Thursday morning and hung out in Starbucks to work until another Inspire Joy coach, who lives in Dallas, got off work and was able to take us shopping for hotel room snacks for the weekend. After an epic Target trip, we headed back to her house to catch up, do some yoga (it felt SO GOOD to stretch out after our flights!), and go to dinner.

We met some of our other teammates, from our larger sponsoring team Shred Nation (Inspire Joy is part of Shred Nation which is part of Christine's team Platinum Presenters), for real Texas BBQ.

I could have eaten it forever y'all. Seriously. It was such a good start to our Texas experience.

The next morning, Anna and I started off with coffee and personal development, as well as just some deep conversations that are so much more fun to have in person. ❤️ We worked out--I convinced her to try T25 with me!--and then headed over to where the conference was being held at the Gaylord Texan Resort.

(Not my picture but I had to include it because...everything's bigger in Texas? And this place is INSANE.)

That afternoon, the first day of presentations kicked off and we spent several hours learning and writing and absorbing. Since the conference is put on by Beachbody coaches, there were morning and evening workouts hosted, but since evening time = food time, we skipped it and went for margs instead.

The next morning, we made it to the morning workout--Turbo! I'd never done any of the Turbo workouts before (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, and I think this was Turbo Kick??) Whatever it was, it kicked my butt.

After breakfast (my favorite oat+yogurt bowls! For the record, the Charlotte TSA agents didn't even blink at the Shakeology powder in my carry-on. Thanks, friends!), we headed down for a full day of sessions! There were sessions on marketing, visual branding by a former makeup artist, Q&As with top coaches, and sooo much more. My hand definitely cramped up a few times.

Dinner that night was salads the size of our faces at Sweet Tomatoes--and of course, muffins in baggies for the next morning. ;)

Sunday morning, we made it to the Piyo workout. Somehow I'd never done Piyo either?? It was amazing and I loved it. (The program I'm currently doing ends at the end of the month and I want to try our new program, Core de Force, in Piyo might be the November program I'm looking for!)

After a half day of sessions, we hung out in the hotel atrium to decompress and relax a little before our evening flights...which ended up being even later because of lightning storms in Dallas. My parents were champs and didn't leave me stranded at the Charlotte airport when I was delayed until 12:30. Love them.

It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I came home with pages full of notes, a heart full of inspiration, and such a renewed energy and love for what I get to do. I can't wait to be back next year with some coaches from my own baby team (who knows--you could be one of them!!).

Miss you already, Katie and Anna!
